Thanks for giving this a positive spin because I felt a little heartsick at the end of the ep.

So with Catherine, he can smile... laugh at her jokes and have a good time. But still. He doesn't get that feeling. Same with Brennan.
And I think there are subtle moments within the episode where you can see how hard that hits them.
I'm totally an incurable optimist, so of course, I'm optimistic after this episode. So I'm glad that I could give you a little bit of a pick-me up. That kinda made my night. :)

You walk the line between reaching out and waiting so well here... perfectly... I want to squish them.

How do you do that?
How do you always find words to render me completely flattered and humbled and... all these things.
I swear, Liz.

It's like they're playing with fire. I mean... I think it would absolutely break them if they were to spend time apart. And the way I see it? It would be practically impossible not to find optimism in the fact that despite everything, despite dates they are there, being (sort of) them because they can't help themselves.
With each other? That's where they belong and no matter what, they'll always have a piece of each other (if not more).
So yeah, Show is outdoing itself and Show is bringing it, crafting this beautiful thing.
But at the same time, I can't help but feel like Show is giving us hope.
