This...sounds kind of pompous to myself, but someone on AO3 had a point in saying that they wished there was somewhere to talk to other fans of my story, Indelible Marks (Teen Wolf fandom, Derek/Stiles and a Hales-Lived AU, WIP

Love this story. Read it in one go, then re-read it twice :-) The fanvid is also incredible, and I hope to see more of the OC/UnclePaul-OC story in Kitchen Sink

Peter is so likable in this AU, and he's so far the opposite of that in canon. It shouldn't be so surprising that he's a different person when he hasn't been burned alive twice, or lost his entire family, but again the details with the cooking, and the children, are pretty heartbreaking.

I always find myself wanting Peter to be more redeemable in canon because I know of what he has been through and it is nice to see him so fully fleshed out in a everybody lives AU. Too often I see writers assume he was always a little off. And, I don't think the Hales trusted Stiles too fast. I think they are all nosy and had known what was happening long before either of them did. After all, it was happening right in front of Vic and Cara. But, with the bond happening like it did, they had no choice but to speed up settling their own minds about him.

i really enjoy this story! i read it all the way through and then subscribed to the updates (around the 17th-19th chapter maybe?) because i usually don't read WIPs; i'm always afraid that they're going to stop getting updated and never end.

what i like about "indelible marks": i like how everyone has a distinct personality, and just how extensive derek's family is. i like that there are a ton of people, and not everyone's a werewolf (just like derek said in the show), and i'm a sucker for no-hale-fire fics so i love that too. i love the kids, i love that everyone has a different job and a distinct life of their own in addition to the pack. i love love love how derek usually thinks in images and even counts in images. i love derek's grandmother; she's probably my favorite character of the extended family - her and gwen. i love that gwen has problems controlling herself, i think it's an interesting twist. and i think stiles is really endearing. (:
