A Wild Sheep Chase is awesome. Dance Dance Dance is, I believe, the sequel to it, but I'm not going to read it just yet.

In Murakami's very first book, Hear the Wind Sing, there's also a friend of the main character named "the Rat." Not sure if there's a connection there, either; I only was able to read the first few pages.

Cool. I didn't know there was a sequel to A Wild Sheep Chase. I probably won't be reading it after Kitchen, either. It doesn't seem like I have to read it right after A Wild Sheep Chase. That's why I like Haruki Murakami novels(or any other good other author's novels). They have a logic of their own.
