Contact lenses seem to hate me.

I'm sick of my glasses, I hate having to clean them off all the time, they drive me nuts. So to fix this, I got contact lenses last week Monday. And things were blurry. Very blurry. I could barely read a computer screen, which is rather a problem since my job consists almost entirely of looking at a computer screen. Sometimes things would be

Eye surgery isn't an option for you?

The last I looked into it, there were two problems. I can't afford the $1000 or so that the surgery costs, and the failure rate is too high for me to be comfortable. Especially when "failure" in this case often means "permanent blindness."
