Something like two months of designing, and now a few days in the shop spaced over two weeks, has finally produced something that might eventually end up being something.

Unfortunately work isn't progressing very quickly, since Bill (yes, my co-conspirator's name is also Bill) works weekdays and I work weekday evenings, and we have to shedule weekends around his second job and my gaming groups. I figure two more weeks if things keep on as they are before this contraption will be ridable.
