I think I prefer analytic philosophy to both continental deconstruction and postmodernism. However, to reach back to these objects would be postmodern. Also, I don't really think that the guards of logic have left the academy, in fact, they're the kings of the colleges right now and I don't suspect them to be leaving any time soon. However, you are right about the youth.
