(Were you raised catholic, by the way?) I'm not sure, I get the sense that you dissaprove of any form of religion. Or perhaps you interpret my use of "holy" as pertaining to christian mythos? I used to "be" a Buddhist. I'm trying to rebuild a Buddhist reality-tunnel. I beleive in transactional psychology, which essentially states that the mind does not passively receive signals from the outside world, but actively interprets them. This sort of thing can be seen in those images that represent more than one thing depending on the perspective one takes (classic example: the old woman/young woman image). So, I beleive that one can build any reality-tunnel one desires, depending on how one chooses to perceive the signals received (for some, this choice seems to be much easier than for others). I don't beleive in divine light or some creator or magic solution that makes life dandy. I do, however, beleive that some reality-tunnels are more beneficial to the bearer than others.
