Someone on City of Milwaukee posted some things about Whole Foods, and that it was not all that friendly toward Unions. Having been there I've been pretty impressed with the set up, and a friend of mine serves coffee there; so it gives me reason to support it. But if these criticisms are relevant that does concern as well. Any thoughts are welcome ( Read more... )

everything iv heard about them said they are much better to thier workers than most places.

Hey there! I do more than serve coffee...hehehe.. :)

The company fucking rocks! All the bad pr stems from a long time ago and was over some stuff that I don't know if I can talk about. Best thing would be to contact someone higher up than me (I'm 'just' a Customer Service Supervisor'...lol) One of the standards that WFM has is to ensure the happiness and prosperity of their employees (not worded correctly..but hey, give me a break I'm tiiiired!) They have done nothing but be uber supportive and helpful and nice to all of us. I've met people that have been with the company for YEARS...if things were that bad, don't you think the turn over would be a lot higher?

Thank you for sticking up for the company without knowing all the different sides or even all the sticky icky issues. Stop in sometime and maybe I can take a 15 minute coffee break and we can sit down and gab!
