So I'm watching someone's run through of Umbrella Chronicles on Youtube since I don't have it, and am I the only one who absolutely HATES Billy and Rebecca's voices in it? Especially Rebecca's! I like their voices in Zero best, it's a shame they had to change them.

I really hope if their's another game/movie with those two in it, they'll try and get

Seriously, Rebecca might be 18 and small but she's not a kid. -_- She sounds more mature in Zero and I like that. I also prefer Billy's Zero voice because it sounds huskier. For UC they gave him the same VA who did Chris in RE5 and I don't want to be reminded of that disaster.

Yeah, I think the husky voice suits Billy a LOT better. I thought his UC voice sounded familiar! Didn't know it was Chris's though. Hmm.

Eh, I didn't think RE5 was a complete disaster, but it was definitely lacking. Fun gameplay though, but RE4 is WAAAAY better.

I prefer Billy's Zero voice; it was unique and husky and sexy, although I thought his acting in the beginning of the game was really shaky, but he got a lot better as it progressed. I didn't dislike his UC voice at all, it just didn't suit him. It's better for someone like Chris, haha.

Rebecca... well, hm. When I first played UC, I really disliked how she sounded. But after a few playthroughs I started getting used to it, and then listening to her Zero voice again felt weird. :( I don't hugely care for either voice for her, but I tend to think of her younger-sounding UC voice as her now. >_>; I know I'm probably alone in that, alas.

I don't particularly mind Billy's UC voice, even though it doesn't have that sexy gravelly sound to it his 0 voice does.

Rebecca's UC voice on the other hand, drives me nuts. She comes off as very weak and lilting with this pathetic little wavery voice, when she's trying to be assertive, and while yes, okay, she is young, she is scared, she is still a trained police officer. It's like the VA was completely incapable of putting force into her voice. I vastly prefer her 0 VA who got inflection VERY well, and even her REmake VA I liked a bit better, even though she was a bit deeper sounding than her 0 VA and a little nasally.

fun fact though. in the Tree of Tranquility Harvest Moon game for the Wii, the female protagonist character not only bears a striking resemblance to Rebecca (her default clothing color is even green) she was voiced by Rebecca's 0 VA 8D

Chances of getting old voice actors are slim in the RE franchise. Claire is the only character who's had the same voice actress in every appearance ;o;

Damn, I did not know that. XD Then again, I have yet to play a RE game with Claire in it, and it's been a super long time since I watched my dad play these games. *needs Code Veronica, RE2 and RE3...and Darkside Chronicles, hellz yeah!)

I seconded you about the voice actors. I've seen Zero first (at where I thought that Rebecca's voice suits her well), but in UC her voice is just...screeching. Ugh.

Though somehow I prefer Billy's voice in RE. Although there's nothing wrong with his voice in UC, I think.
