While everybody does poop, nobody talks about it much. This is the reason why if someone sees you take a book into the bathroom, they are disgusted, but if they see you check a book out of the library, they don't think of you using the bathroom. It's all in the visuals.
SO; Don't tell people, 'Whoo-wee, I gotta go and no foolin'!' They will get upset. Don't tell people. 'I don't know about you, or this guy, or the girl he's with, but when I get home, it's barely legal porn and a box of Kleenex for me!' They will get upset. Don't tell people, 'This infection can only get worse, so why not pick at the scab? I can't tell you what the white stuff that oozes out is, but I can tell you that if you rub raw meat on it, it turns blue!' They will get upset.
However, if I someday open a library, I will have a big sign that says, 'Pooers welcome' on the door, and a sign that says, 'Read away, just don't spray' on the bathroom.
