My wife and I were just going over our membership renewal options for the Oregon Zoo. It really is a nice zoo. I was there a few weeks ago with my daughter. We walked by this older Australian woman, who told us, "Isn't this just a wonderful zoo!" I had to agree with her.

Of course, I gew up in San Diego, which has arguably the best zoo in the world. I spent a summer in that zoo, just hanging out while my Mom worked. I was 13 or 14, and I had the time of my life. I probably should have been a zoologist, but I'm not THAT comfortable around animals. Though I love zoos. Strange.

Old Spaghetti Factory. I love that place. I haven't been to a bad one yet, and you don't feel bad brining your kid there. Plus, the one here on the waterfront has some of the best coffee I've ever had. I love it.

I got tired READING about the yard work.
