I would buy that except, there are usually no less than 10 open units at any given time in this complex and sometimes even more than that. What sense does it make to make it to where a good, paying tenant is made to leave and the unit just sits there empty for 6 or more months?? I've seen it in other complexes around here too. Yeah there are people that are leaving their homes and getting apartments but it's not like there is a shortage with new complexes opening intown every 2-3 months.
when our loft came up for renewal last fall, they went up by $100. Ruben is good with numbers and he got the increase cut in half! So i would definitely suggest talking to the management about reconsidering the rate. You don't ask, you don't get; that's what my boss always says.
