RL Stuff
Wow, I didn't post at all last year... that would be because 2011 sucked...
So, my husband got laid off and couldn't find a job in the small town we'd moved to and finally took a job in the East Bay in order to end a year-and-a-half unemployed stretch. Unfortunately, the job he took didn't have any benefits, so I chose to keep my job here and commute. This is only possible because we're furloughed on Fridays at work and I have family in town that I can stay with. Still... living only part-time with ones spouse isn't the easiest thing. Also, driving 3 hours every weekend into the Bay Area isn't a barrel full of monkeys either.
So, I haven't had a lot of time to myself... I've barely knitted, I don't blog, I miss my sweetie pie desperately... my life is very topsy-turvy. So... here's to a new year and hopefully better changes in store.
