4:55 pm, Bay Bridge: Heading into SF
6:18 pm, San Francisco: Finishing up dinner at Max's Opera Cafe. I continue to kid myself that I like chopped chicken liver sandwiches, but clearly I don't. Luckily, Mom never eats all her fries.
6:37 pm, San Francisco: Cool chalk stencils on Van Ness Ave.
6:46 pm, San Francisco: Hanging out on the balcony pre-concert, watching Fleet Week traffic on Van Ness.
6:55 pm, San Francisco: Andras Schiff plays Beethoven piano sonatas. Or he will soon. Not now, obviously. Looks like the hall's melting here, doesn't it?
8:34 pm, San Francisco: Intermission at Davies Symphony Hall
9:54 pm, Bay Bridge: Angel Island is on fire!!!
11:05 pm, Oakland: Yes, my love, I guess I should have soaked the chocolate pot.
