Aug 12, 2009 23:26

Yes, just a plain old day making videos (clickin' OK) and watching Good Eats. Sorry to be so boring. As usual see http://chaddarnell.typepad.com/ for the 12 of 12 specs.

I like this series, especially how you've framed it front and back. *grin* Slightly Lady of Shallot, only with a laptop instead of a loom.

Thanks. :-) I don't know too much about the Lady of Shalott, but a quick perusal of Wikipedia is interesting. I do know the famous lines, but never knew what they were about. (I'm assuming, btw, you don't mean to call me a Lady of Alliums! ha ha!) Indeed, Sketchpad and the laptop could stand in very well for the loom. I guess poor Lancelot won't appear until Saturday or Sunday, when Erik journeys from Sequoia!

Thanks for making my day seem much more interesting!

now liquor storage for the Clique OK and misc Galileo thermometers

HA! This is zero percent surprising. I feel like those Galileo thermometers are going to outlast us all and will eventually clue future archeologists in on the magical inner life of Key. (Probably, now that I think of it, in tandem with the Clique OK's holdings. Heh.)

Also, that picture of Andres is hilarious in its typicality.

"I feel like those Galileo thermometers are going to outlast us all and will eventually clue future archeologists in on the magical inner life of Key."

Probably! That and Production's weird shrines - which expose the mystical inner household gods of a seemingly hardheaded and practical dept. :-) However I was being somewhat misleading, as Ladie very kindly gave me that particular Galileo (and the Zome tool sets on top of it) and I just haven't taken them home yet.

"Also, that picture of Andres is hilarious in its typicality."

Isn't it, though? Doesn't it make you all nostalgic for working at Key and trying to ask him a question?
