Here we are again, in a very different season for me, but also a remarkably busy day. For those of you who don't know, my husband, graymalkn , was killed in a bicycle accident 3 1/2 weeks ago. Here are his previous 12 of 12 entries. See Chad Darnell for the 12 of 12 works.

*hug* i am sorry i was not able to make it to the memorials, zane graduated last week, all weekend i had to shuffle her to post-grad stuff and this week i instantly have 100 million appointments for her surgery. all my best to all of you, and let me know if you need anything, even just someone to hang out with.

Thanks, Hep. I know what a whirlwind graduations can be, and a surgery too?? Oy. I'll let you know if I need anything.

Nice pictures. Even nicer seeing you in real life.

Chris and Jack seem to have less awkward haircuts than I do at the moment. Ah, well.

Thanks. :-) I definitely enjoyed seeing you as well!

You could easily have Jack's lack-of-haircut, though I'm not sure it would look good on you. ;-)

I was going to quip about how it's a fine line between Louise Brooks and Shemp...but then the bookkeeper at work said how she thought my haircut was cute, and I felt better about it all.

I like how, in the photo of Jack taking the picture of his lunch, his pose is pretty much the same as the Manet boy playing the fife that's on the table-top advert.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I just heard about your husband's death today. Actually, I heard about the accident right after it happened, but I didn't know it was him until just a couple of hours ago.

I met both of you at Heidi's salons a while ago and I have been one of his Livejournal friends for a while now. I admire him tremendously and have been inspired by how he lived his life in the service of others.

Our thoughts are with you and with your families.
Peace and love,
Dan
