12 of 12: October, Pre-Anniversary Edition

October 12 is the day before Erik's and my wedding anniversary. So normally there might be some trilobite cookies involved, or some symphony-going, or things of that nature. Today . . . not so much. i love the bay bridge too. it's my favorite bridge in the bay area.

You have a familial relationship with it, right? I don't, but I do dream about it a lot.

yeah but i have that with the rest of the bridges too in the bay area. not a bridge here is built without at least 10 members of my family on the raising gang cuz all three sides (both bio and step) are ironworkers or other blue collar labor unions. the bay bridge is just the most elegant imo.

No worries about late commenting. ;-)

The anniversary went off ok. I have good friends.

I like bridges generally, and love standing on them especially when there's water flowing below. Maybe it's odd, but I like it!

I don't think it's odd at all! One of the world's great pastimes. Unfortunately you can't walk on the Bay Bridge w/o dying, being arrested, or having 80,000+ motorists angry at you at the very least. But I often dream of walking over it.
