That cat is the coolest thing I've seen this week.
I'm really glad that I'm following your journal now, because I'm coming to the end of my third year in uni and I really think that I want to go into teaching, but the people around me aren't overly supportive and so I keep being knocked back a bit. I suppose, I was just wondering, as someone who's doing it, do you think wanting to do it is enough?
The want is the key thing. You can't go into teaching thinking it's an easy ride and ooo I start at 9 and finsh and 3 and I get long holidays beacuse you'll quit within the year.
There have been classes that have made me so stressed and sad that I've gone home and looked for ANY other job, but then I've gone in the next day and something has happened to reignite the WANT to teach.
It is more than enough to want to teach, but you need to be realistic about how hard it is too-like any other job to be honest.
Be warned, most of my blog will be ranting, but I'll try to give some positive insights. xoxo
