I am always appalled by how weak my arms are, but I think once you start developing them you can make quite a difference in what you can do. So you should go for it! ^^
Great pose. Climbing is hard. As a girl, you have less upper body strength, but climbing on the silks is supposed to be more about your legs and core strength, using your arms more to hold you in place. It is a pretty steep learning curve, learning how to use your body when you are off the ground.
yeah, that's what the instructor said, but nothing really worked! my arms were too weak to hold myself in place whilst I was trying to do scoopy things with my legs so I just kept sliding down. It's still bugging me now! Lol
Dont get yourself in a bunch. It gives you a goal to work towards in your strength training. I think you should give the Silks TWO more chances. Because seriously, that is a pretty awesome pose and it would be cool to be able to do more like it.

you will get the climbing down and look back and think... wow, i was worried for nothing. just be patient and keep up practicing!
