small IM worlds
The randomest thing happened today. I was flipping out over Sprint's customer service being a total waste of existence, and fiddling around online trying to crack into my online billing since it was totally not letting me in legitimately. One of my best friends popped onto AIM, and I IMed her. At least that is what I thought I was doing. Her e-mail is acissej777, and that's what I had in my AIM list, and I knew I had IMed her on this thing before, although rarely because she's almost never there.
The conversation went like this:
bimyo: heyyy
Acissej777: heyyy i am sorry who is this?
b: oh who is this?
(I was surprised since if it were really my friend, she would have known me... so I thought her cousin or something was on her account, yada yada... it was really weird. This was followed by a long pause... then...)
ecaterin: hello?
Acissej777: well if you dont know who i am then lets just not talk cuz i dont know who you are
Acissej777: ok, have a nice easter goodbye
(I was kind of annoyed then, because I thought someone had broken into her account and was being narly. And then the Easter comment threw me off... my friend is Jewish! I couldn't give up though, so I wrote back...)
b: i was trying to reach jessica
b: are you for real?
b: or are you just messing with my friend's account?
Acissej777: this is jess, just tell me who you are
b: bimyo
b: we've chatted in this thing before
Acissej777: where are you from
(WHAT THE HELL???)
b: what the hell
b: en serio no me conoces o estas fingiendo ser jessica?
(I decided to test the lying brat by writing in Spanish since my friend speaks Spanish as well- I asked, do you really not know me or are you pretending to be Jessica?)
Acissej777: en serio me llamo Jessica....y no te conozco...
(She writes- 'Really, my name is Jessica... and I don't know you...' !!!)
Acissej777: ooooo
Acissej777: vives en mexico?
(!!!)
b: no eres jessica g~?
Acissej777: ooo no
Acissej777: i am a different jessica
b: that is so weird. i'm sure i've chatted with her under the same name before
Acissej777: well that is not my name
(Oh dear... and how strange!)
b: sorry about that. she's my best friend, so i thought maybe somebody was f-ing with me
Acissej777: well i had you on my buddy list...so i must have talked to you before but i dont know
b: i'm from miami, where are you?
b: that's so strange
Acissej777: iowa
Acissej777: yeah i know
b: and that's even more random that you speak spanish too
Acissej777: yeah no kidding
