So, as most of you know, I drive out to Seattle every weekend for work. I was checking out the pass report and found out that traction tires are required. On a whim, I decided to go out and check my car to see if, miracles of miracles, I happened to have traction tires - I've been shopping around for some, but I never bothered to actually check

It's perfectly reasonable to be that excited about traction tires! Chains are a pain in the ass.

I did a happy dance this morning when I managed to successfully back out of my driveway without creaming my car on either a) the rock wall along the driveway b) my mom's car c) my brother's truck e) my brother's Camero or f) the mailbox!!! When I got home last night, I kept sliding down the gigantic hill I live on and my tires spun trying to get up the gutter...then when I put my car in park and set the parking brake and turned my car off, my car slid about a foot down the driveway. It's such a pain trying to get out of my neighborhood...
