What should I do with Mr Scary Spider?

We have a small back yard now but there are lots of spiders in it. I don't really care about the small ones or the ones with there webs in the corner of the fence. But there is this huge spider in our kitchen window. I think he is an Orb spider and he is 2 1/2 inch long maybe longer. He gives Josh the creeps. He gets all the flys that land on the

Rule of thumb is, spiders are more afraid of you than you are of them. They won't bite unless you go pissing them off. If you're afraid still, scoop him into a cup using a piece of paper and take 'em outside and set it free in the bushes.

Unless you want to smush him, which is ok I suppose, but since most spiders are beneficial, I'd just let them loose back outside.

He is out side. But he is really big! The biggest I've seen in our area.
