when people start praising american history x, i get too irrational to speak, but i can refer them to my essay on the subject. i therefore think it appropriate to commit my thoughts on the movie "love actually" (which i saw friday, and becky saw last night) to writing... for posterity's sake

one person i saw it with didn't like it, but only because the guy gave his secretary a necklace.
and the other person said, "you're right, it was pretty bad. but the end was so heartwarming."
"when harry met sally" is a @%$ heartwarming romantic comedy, "love actually" desperately needs to be renamed "love is a big fucking lie, go home and kill yourself rather than see this movie"
i've seen a lot of bad movies. i don't know why i'm so adament about this particular flick.
all i know is that, the entire walk back to the dorms, between yelling obsenities, i could actually feel my heart trying to recover from the upstate-new-york level of freezing cold that had engulfed it for the two previous hours.
