Wanting for the Future

Why does money have to be the factor in everything?

Why couldn't we just strive to better ourselves and not base ourselves on material possessions?

I happen to feel the same way m'dear. Money doesn't make the world go 'round, but it does make the trip a tad bit easier.

In a weird sense... depending on your views of the situation.. money does everything "work." Otherwise you couldn't buy food, clothing... the basic needs that come natural.

The more money you have the more cushioned you are in society. The more lavish your lifestyle....

Though.. the lifestyle intertwines itself with material possessions. The more money you have the more you want when it's not really needed.

Guh... the whole topic is confusing.. makes my head hurt just thinking about it.

But.. yeah... at least you know where i'm coming from. heh.

Well it does take some of the green stuff to acquire some of the things that we need. But at what point does it go from a need to a want?

I agree that the more $$$, the 'easier' life can become; but does it also come with happiness?

Myself, I'd want just enough to keep a roof over my head, a vehicle in running condition, have a little here and there so I can visit family and friends; and of course, enough to justify my collecting habits. ;)

Yeah, the topic can get very confusing. Don't give it so much thought that your head hurts hon!

And yes, I most definitely know where you're coming from. *hugs*

Well... for some money is their backbone of happiness. At least that's how I see it. Seems as if money can buy you the "happines" anyone truely desires.

Heh. True.. but the whole collecting habbits are not necessarily "needs" either. Yet we all desire them...

I'm glad you're getting where I'm coming from though. :)
