I was fucking TIRED. Tired and stressed, but eager to go anyway. Due to bad weather and the economy there were a lot of very well loved people who weren't able to make it--that cut back on the fun for me to some extent, because much of the joy of con is seeing old friends you don't see any other time or place

It was! I just soooo missed some of the friends I only see once a year at GaFilk. The saris are stunning--heavy, gorgeous brocade in deep plum and blue. Teri and I wore saris at ConCarolinas so we'll probably do it again. Antithesis always dresses up for gigs--pirate, steam punk or something exotic like our Japanese kimonos or my morroccan Aba in embroidered green velvet with gold silk harem pants. I mean, if we're being silly on stage, why not dress the part?? BTW, I LOVE your Grimm icon!
