 I've been making friends.

There's this guy, Jordan.  His character, Tamrissa, has asked my character, Seryanna, to marry her.  It's like living in a love story.  A lot of people would laugh at me for just typing that line I just did, but really, this is such a beautiful thing to watch...and it's even more beautiful to experience it.

i'd guess you know this already as i'm the mentioned girlfriend or jordan, but i don't think you're pathetic for turning to wow for a social life. the format of every character essentially looking fairly much the same takes away a lot of the instant judgements people make about a person upon seeing them. and because the communication is still instant (with the usual delay of typing), you can still fairly quickly judge if a person is someone you want to talk to again.

i write a lot about my wow characters on my lj...it's all friend locked and stuff that i don't want others seeing is double locked...if you want to read some of it...
