I wrote David Rambo an email last week about the Grave Danger issue, this is what I wrote him:
So, I just read on TV Guide about CSI Miami and that Delko will suffer from PTSD.
Now, I wonder what will it take until Nick will suffer from PTSD?
A lot of my friends told me that Grave Danger is done and that I shouldn’t hope for some continuity. But I

I was thinking the topic would be "Two differing responses from writing to TPTB" and then have links to each of your responses.

And it's not only the GD story which TPTB handled badly, it's all of Nick's stories.
No, I can't believe that someone who is so emotional like Nick, gets on the horse so fast everytime.
Also, I notice he doesn't single out Nick as a reason we should watch the show this season,I was afraid, that all the "Nick steps up" spoiler was just a way to keep us hanging on CSI. And I'm a little disappointed, because in his last email he wrote this ( ... )

Yeah, I understand, but still it's a poor job what they are doing right now. The writers should talk with each other and discuss certain storylines, because it's a show where we have to expect some continuity, overall it's not something like "The Simpsons" where a storyline is finished within the episode. I don't know how to describe what I mean. *lol*
Anyway, I think I'll write Rambo another email and I'll say that I'm not happy how they are dealing with Nick's storyline. Maybe this will be the last email then which he'll answer, but I don't care. TPTB should know that we aren't happy and that they already lost fans not only because of GSR but also because of the non-dealing with the GD story.
It's sad that I don't even care anymore about the other characters, but I can't change it. Nick is the only one I want to see.

Don't like it though.
Yes, they showed a Nick near-burn-out with FannySmackin, and then Redrum, and then.. nothing.. Apparently he's resolved his feelings on that and that's it. Ugh. Bad bad bad writing/character development/continuity. I'm disappointed too. Good on you for asking for an explanation though, and I'm pleased Rambo replied, even if the answer doesn't make much sense in terms of the enormity of what Nick went through. I guess that's their story, and they're sticking to it...
I'm already 3 epis behind in CSI and my enthusiasm for it has noticeably waned.

I'm also glad that he replied to me, but I'm not pleased with his answer or what TPTB and George thought would be the best to do with the GD story. They screwed this up, big time!

I do agree that Nick IS a "get back on the horse" kind of guy, but he's also human... And something as traumatic as that would have a MUCH greater effect on any normal person. None can tell me that it's realistic that someone "gets back on the horse" so fast without any signs of problems. I couldn't have said it better myself ( ... )

And I also want a Nick/Gil scene, god how I miss these two working together. =(
I read the Warrick spoiler and after reading that Grissom will be there for him, I wanted to scream. I mean the only explanation I have, is that Grissom doesn't give a damn about Nick. Is that so hard to give us a scene where the two talk things out? It's so unfair!
Yeah, Sara and Greggo will get the coninuity, why bother and give Nick what he deserves.
Thank you and huggles you back. =)
