Yeh. They're missing the boat with this. It sets up a return to the impression that Nick is shallow. The Nick haters will lambaste him.

Why can't the writers and casting agents be brave and give him an older girlfriend or one whose beauty is in her character?

And what happened to George's request that she be a social worker or a charity worker? Waitress is not what came to mind. She's what I would give to Greg or Archie.

Let's hope it gets left on the cutting room floor.

Exactly! It seems like the writers forget about the last 7 seasons, jumped back to the first season and give us back the "good ole texan boy" who slept with a hooker. My god, how stupid are they, this will destroy his character and I'll definitely lose the respect for Nick.

Isn't it strange that the writers always choose a relationship (bad and stupid relationships)to let people deal with their problems:

1. Grissom/Sara: Nick got kidnapped and it seems that this was the point where these two began the relationship.

2. Nick got kidnapped and Warrick turned to Tina and married her, because of what happened to Nick.

Pobably 3. Something bad will happen to Warrick and Nick turns to the girl to forget all his problems.

Wow, maybe the writers should go and write for Grey's.

I also hope that they cut it.

Hey, they've destroyed every other character. Cath is flashing for inmates, Greg is a spoiled brat and Grissom is bonking his subordinate. What else was there to expect. And oh yes. Warrick is a drug-addict *rolls eyes*

ITA with you. I could only imagine that Greg would dating such a young girl/woman. It would fit for his quirky character, but not for Nick.

I read in some interviews that the CSI crew knew that something was wrong with Gary for a longer time. Now, I wonder why they wrote him a drug addiction storyline???
Wouldn't that be a little mean and silly.
I don't know what the writers are thinking.

I hope he didn't had a say in this, because then I can say: "Poor guy, it's not his fault that they destroy his character". If he had a say and agreed to this sillyness, then I truly don't know what I shall think of George. It's sad.

Yeah, mid-life crisis, but isn't he a little too young for this?

I'm sure it's one of the producer's mid-life crisis. GE has always wanted a girl-friend that was more heart than looks. He's said so several times.

The whole thing irks me!

*lol* That could be the case and one of the female writers (is there even one?) had a Daddy issue, that would explain the GSR gagfestival.

Thats true and it's sad that after several years of hard work, GE hasn't a say in what he wants.

I'm not surpised at all by this. It seems they can't ever show a healthy reationship on TV anymore. The last few eppys have been pretty good except for last week's, but as a whole the season has been horrid, I mean look what they;ve done to Warrick.

sigh

Oh and here's how to to a cut. I never use rich text.

It's sad that the lab rats or Greg (last season) get more focus in show than the main cast. Warrick was the invisible rock of the team and then he got this drug storyline. I didn't saw the episodes with him so I don't even know who Gedda is? Anyway, they could have done so much with Nick and Warrick after Grave Danger but they failed miserable.
I think season 1 and 4 were the best so far and after Grave Danger it went downhill.

I was full of hope when I heard that Nick gets a girlfriend, but now I just want that they cut it out. What are they planning to do? Maybe they think after Sara's gone they need to give us a new Daddy issue storline with Nick and the waitress. It's ridiculous.

Thank you, for the link. I already changed it. =)
