So I was wondering today why in the world all bedsets come with only one pillow cases. Who sleeps with one pillow? Is it worth sacrificing customer satisfaction for two square feet of fabric

What kind of Bed and a bag did you get? Obviously not as cool as mine because I received three, count them THREE, pillowcases.

It's actually not that bad. Fortunately the transition wasn't as difficult as one might think, as I usually sleep in my bed during late spring/summer/early fall. The sleeping bag will make an appearance around late October.
