I finally got laid off from sonny's, thank goodness. It was terribly boring and completely unrewarding after, oh, the first two days. It is a great relief to be done with that. It seems that I have harvested a job for myself. I applied at Sonny's, which is a greenhouse/garden store. I start on the 21st of may. The pay is nothing special, but I don't really care if I make money, so big deal. I think I'll like working there, with all the sun and plants and seeds and--oh yes-- FUDGE AND CHOCOLATE. Dessie's birthday was today, and mine is in one week. I can't believe we're twenty. It seems impossible. oh well. We both get our birthdays during vacation, which is really awesome. Not much to add to this one, just thought I should write. good day to you!

Today I ordered 26 dollars' worth of brewing supplies from this awesome new catalog I got. I'm going to be making five gallons of mead! I love mead. My neighbors are beekeepers, and so I got cheap honey, ten pounds of really high quality stuff. It will all be coming around thursday this week. I am so excited for that. this weekend has been one big snowstorm. in the last three days we have gotten close to three feet of snow. I built a tremendously cool snow fort out of slush mined from the pond, and it froze solid overnight into an ice fort. my morning classes are cancelled tomorrow, which is why I'm up so late, and there is more snow predicted for tonight.
