Still not quite got my mojo back, so I opted for a fairly local, reasonably short walk today, just up in the fields to the west of the town.  Mind you, I still drove up and parked at Morrisons, partly so that I could do the glass recycling, and partly because it would knock 2 miles off as opposed to starting from home!

There is a shop in the next town over from me called The Little Pharmacy and Shoe Shop, which is exactly what it sounds like. You can buy a pair of stilettos while you wait for your prescription to be made up.

I woke up this morning remembering the bicycle repair shop at the end of the road I grew up on. In about 1987 it diversified to become a bicycle repair and ballet outfitters outlet. I'm sure there are good reasons for these bizarre bedfellows, even if we don't know the backstory.
