What is mum doing wrong???!!! Everytime she tries to upload an image from the scrapbook it just comes out in code.... no photo.

At least she has managed to get them into the scrapbook - what can I do with her- maybe a need a new computer person......

Don't rely on your mum for these things - they're all useless. Just upload your pics to the scrapbook, type your entry in HTML then paste in the code. We use photobucket for our photos and, again, just copy the HTML code and our piccies appear.

I have a paid account (it's very cheap). There are a couple of real advantages to this:-
1. No advertising
2. You can upload pictures direct from your computer

We don't have anything fancy here and Mum isn't a computer whizz. We just click the insert image button, browse and find the picture on the pc hard drive and click upload. It takes ages and just looks like code buntil you do a preview or post it properly.

We don't have a paid accound and think your Mum has done all the right things just the final click to go!
