haha. i just realized that all my teachers and classmates probably thought i was skipping and smoking pot, while in reality i was home blowing my nose and drinking tea

bianca, it's like.. everything you wrote in this livejournal post i totally understood with the utmost complete transparency.. even though it's kind of weird to say that about a livejournal post. but really, i understand your pain. i myself am not particularly a very good artist although you may consider me a striving one or an artist with words or what not.. but i still totally connect with what your saying. it's like, you want the critique and the credit for an amazing art peice but when people get easily offended or just dislike your work, it feels like you've been exposed or you've been exploited

hey, i love long replies. i tried doing the double sketchbook thing, but the setback of me being extremely lazy gets in the way. im really glad to know that my art has touched some people (especially you. IF YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN. WINKWINK) okay not really but i wanna try to remember that when i feel like becoming a total art hermit. i mean, the school made those ugly-ass posters of my painting without my permission, then "congratulated" me. or some crap. art, writing, and just...any form of expression can be fucked over with someone else's words...if we choose for it to. LET'S FIGHT THE SYSTEM, GOLDIE
i know. when i sold a piece at a moca show we had last year, it felt like total whoring. in retrospect, i got mere pennies for what i put on that (large) paper. you know when like, ariel signs her soul away to ursula? kinda like that. but see, if i can buy a car for my soul, that's a different story. muahaha
hmm, but showing art is painless...so be ready to talk about the history of bianca mejia in a few years
(but i LOVE giving art away, so don't be shy to ask me for something)
Montes makes me feel that way. I'm not sure if I should be flattered that I work so incredibly hard on a piece and he gives it a B, implying I could do so much better, and then John Moshe makes some ridiculous kindergarten quality sketch and gets an A.
montes is a great guy. probably one of the nicest and coolest adults i've met. he has so much concern for his students, but man...can he have some bad judgement sometimes.
you should poop on a piece of paper and call it your Id and see what you get
