Unfortunately, he gets a Deanna who lets him skate on not doing the important stuff. Also, it reminds us that Elly isn't really an adult either. She focuses on stupid things like dresses to wear to a church her in-laws might not even go to but not anything useful. It's also the Elly who wanted to be praised for saving the family money by booking them in Pullman berths instead of actual rooms.

Good point there. Rhetta, in reminding Mike of something he forgot, probably kicked off a "Rhetta is just like my mom" vibe in Mike, making him think he needs to find someone else who is not like his mother. Mike will begin to make progress in his effort to break with Rhetta. First in two months we will get the implication that Mike and Weed are going to have a relationship with either Jodi or Kit.

For some God-damn reason, the swine hate it like fire when people do to them what they want done to other people. Liz and Mike want the rules other people have to follow not to apply to them. This is why Liz cannot go back to Mtigatingcircumstances: people didn't do for her what she wanted to do to other people.

Question: what do you get when you fail to actually show children how you want things done and get pissed because they don't know what you expect?:
