He's considered a boyfriend because Elly wouldn't have to listen to strange radio stations when going to Liz's place to ignore her grandchildren and dispense useless advice....and also because Elly doesn't remember that Anthony pulled the trigger the next time they were on break too:

I remember the last time they broke up more accurately than Liz cares to. Liz shuts her friends out of her life because she's a hypocrite and moron about who people spend their time with:

This, of course, raises a question: why did Anthony end up thinking that Liz was open to the idea of waiting until a marriage he didn't really want and couldn't handle because he wasn't the dominant personality:

and of course because the story came from Anthony it MUST be 100 percent accurate and not self-serving at ALL. Liz should be drawn with a round head and a stick body because she's the ultimate Sucker.

"Anthony won't be jealous..." Anthony is the guy getting married here. Either Lynn meant to write "Therese won't be jealous" or she doesn't know what "jealous" means. OR, Liz expects Anthony to still pant after her as a married man. What the hell did you write here, Lynn?

She couldn't wait to believe all the garbage Eric was telling her until she saw with her own eyes that people who warned her that he was a stinker happened to be right. She's not going to question self serving crap..... especially when it's about someone who was mean to her.
