SO, while Rea and I were trekking around this big-ass country we attended 'The Sounds of the Underground' tour in Arizona. Feisty. Anyway, Rea secured a media pass for use on the day allowing me to take some photos. I thought that the hardcore kids among you might enjoy a little look-see. 'Norma Jean', 'Everytime I Die' and 'Terror' among others.

Wonderful photos, Ms J. You've got some talent my girl.

(I saw Norma Jean before the photo loaded...so I was expecting a blonde woman in a white dress. O_O)

Thank you, dear. And, just for the record, it would have been AWESOME if the lead singer of Norma Jean had been dressed up in a white dress... I'd pay to see that...

The Poison the Well photo is particularly intense. I like that one a lot.

Where all did you go when you were trekking around this big-ass country?

We sort of based ourselves in Cincinnati and then drove places from here. A trip to New York and Philidelphia, a Trip to Richmond, Wasgington and Baltimore, a trip to Florida (because the call of disney is impossible to resist)and then a big trip towards the west. We covered Moussouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. It was pretty special.

And New York was my favourite part.

You live in Seattle, right? I've heard awesome things...

That sounds pretty awesome. I dream of doing that. It also sounds like you had great company.

So far I've only lived here a little over two months, but yeah, Seattle is pretty awesome. Definitely road trip worthy.

Where all did you go in NY? Was it mostly the big city, or did you explore the state? I grew up in Western NY.

We pretty much stuck to the big city and Long Island. But I'm going back, theoretically for a longer stay and much more exploring... so it's certainly not too late to check out the rest of the state... anything you recommend?

i like the pictures.

it reminds me of the throwdown cd i saw today in best buy. the sticker proclaimed it as the "future of metal". who knew the future of metal would be 1988 breakdown hardcore?
