rodney died yesterday. i came home from work, walked in my apt... called all the babies names... came in my room... and then i saw that he wasn't in his spot.... then i saw him laying on the side of his cage behind his plastic tubes... and it was weird because he never goes over there... so i got a really awful pain and then i realized he was dead

kira! i am so sorry! isn't it amazing how the death of something so small as a hamster can rock us to our cores? those little guys are soem bright little lights in our crazy lives.

remember your hamster that melted? LOL! i wanted you to laugh. at least rodney was in decent shape for you!

Oh Kiraness, so sorry to hear about Rodney. Don't worry, he's all good, frolicking in the woods somewhere smoking a cig. He still hasn't quit smoking, even in the afterlife, oh that Rodney :)
