My thoughts on this episode really couldn't be contained in just a few words, so you're getting SPAM while I try to re-organise some characterisation in my head to pull in what I know now. Obviously image-heavy and complete with spoilers ho, and dark subject matters.

1) The vodka in the cereal HAD to go in there. Just did! Don'tcha wanna try it now? Makes you feel hunky fucking dory!
2) I am SUCH a sucker for pretty things, and gorgeous scenery. That few minutes made what remains of the artist in me the glees. Plus? Adoooorable, even if it was kind of sad at the same time because she was seriously going off the deep end.
3) I felt SO bad for Freddie. Poor boy and his pretty eyes. He was almost crying for most of the episode. N'aww.
4) The rickshaw driver guy who gave them that thing was brilliant. It was like "You two lovers have fun... And respect to the rig--" then pointing at that. Every once in a while they threw in the lighter moments!
5) *smooshes the weetiny!Effy* And now, when it comes to weetiny weekend, I don't really have to go searching! \o/

When I first watched that park scene, I gotta admit I could see where people were coming from with something being off. It was only when I saw it in context that it all fitted right. But once it did. OH FREDDIE. Poor boy had no idea what to do, but still managed to do it right with the running people off.

Nope, not a prude! That was pretty cracked, and her little quote while she was at it, did make me lol. That and the LOOK she gave Freddie when he tried to take that bottle away from her.

Honestly, I'm not all that squicked, but I know it can be a sore point for some people, and seeing people using icons of that scene already actually makes me a little uncomfortable just for that fact... It's one of those scenes that will affect people, and... yeah, I didn't feel quite right putting it in there.

Yeah, I agree! When I saw just the clip of them frolicking in the park, I thought it was a little weird, but in the context of the episode (especially with the moment that came right after it), it was perfect. I'll be honest, my freffy love had been dwindling this season, but this episode, and particularly this scene, brought it all roaring back.

Haha, yeah. And her passive aggressive, "I'm not the one grinding my teeth." Well, no, but you are suffering from psychotic depression. So yeah, no more vodka for you.

That was a good decision, I think. It's a very sensitive subject matter, and even though this is SKINS and skins pushes limits all the time, it's still an image that is SUPPOSED to affect people, and not necessarily in a good way.
