Xander is just too cute. Last week I was taking his picture and he runs up to me saying, "CHEESE!"

Later that same day, he woke up from his nap and I asked him what he wanted for a snack. He answered, "Cake?" I guess he remembered that we had cupcakes the night before and wanted more for a snack. LOL
Elizabeth is still a peanut compared with Xander at the same age. I think he had about 3 pounds on her but, since I'm not weighing her as often (only at the doc's since we don't go to 4th trimester) I'm not as aware of what she's weighing. I don't think she's more than 12 pounds at the moment and probably closer to 11. She is so animated and chatty and she has the cutest laugh and giggle. I think she's going to start rolling over soon. I snapped a nice pic of her this morning, similar too a shot I got of Xander, and I want to see how old he was when I took it. I also need to break out Photoshop and make some side-by-side comparison images. I think it would be cute to have birth, 1- months, 2- month, and 3-month shots of the two together.
Mom came up on Wednesday night and stayed through the weekend. It was nice because I managed to get to the optomitrist on Thursday for the first time in ten years. There wasn't anything wrong with my eyes but, I figured it was time for a check-up. I have 20-20 vision and my eyes look great but, he said I do have a slight prescription (slightly far sighted). Since I don't have any symptoms and don't do a lot of computer work or reading he didn't think it was worth me getting glasses but, gave me the prescription to take home in case I suddenly got a job where I was on the computer all the time or whatever. He doubted I'd have any trouble since I haven't had any trouble before.
I've been moving furniture around in the nursery to try and get it so that Xander's not climbing all over everything and getting into stuff. It's not really working so we're looking at a complete redo. It works out well since we need to move Xander's crib downstairs into his own room to make space for Elizabeth's crib next to our bed (it's at the foot of our bed right now and is not working out there- she lasts about 5 minutes and then I end up bringing her into our bed anyway).
I think I'll get on that Photoshopping while I have the inclination for it. :)
