I really need to rememeber to journal more. I told myself that I would try and journal just as much with Elizabeth as I did with Xander but, it seems there's always something preventing me from getting to the computer to catalog all the milestones and funny incidents (for both children) and when I do get to the computer, I find myself catching up

Nice training potty! I remember mine was really plain and didn't look much like a potty at all.

Yeah, way back in the day... My day was too long ago for me to remember, though (26 years ago now, eep!) But, nowadays they even have training URINALS. If we had space for it, I'm guessing Shawn would want one. I thought he'd think they were stupid but, apparently little boys realy like using urinals. I was never a little boy, so I wouldn't know, but I can understand it. LOL

I love that potty. I want one just like it. I hate to tell you, but boys are hard to potty train. Let Xander take things at his own pace. Talk about old, I didn't even recognize those diapers. When I think of cloth diapers they were a rectangle you folded to the size you wanted and wrap them around the babies legs. You then put rubber britches on. Boy have times changed. Your going to have to teach me how to sells things on ebay. I'm good a buying, but a little scared to try and sell. I've got a bunch of HP collector cards I would like to sell. Hope you sort things out at your mother's house. I know she will be disappointed if the kids and you can't stay with her. My hips are doing great. I went to the drug store and walked all over it. They're coming along at a good pace. Love ya all.

They still have traditional diapers, though even the rubber pants have come a long ways (a lot of people use cute wool covers and even the 'rubber' pants are more modern, using PUL (some sort of waterproof material that's not rubber) and a lot of them have snaps or velcro). I'm getting some fitted diapers which are more like the traditional prefolds, only no pins or folding cause they are 'fitted' and have snaps or velcro. hehe There are just a zillion different options nowadays which is why I started out with a sampler package and am still sort of figuring out what I like best.
