Big Boy Bed

I really need to journal more often. I can't believe it's been four weeks since my last update. Elizabeth is awesome at 'pulling up' to standing. She hardly needs to use her hands at all anymore. She's also started cruising this week and loves to let go and freestand, then slowly lower herself to her bottom. We've also started giving her baths ( Read more... )

Your kids are so cute *stealssss them*. As for the wall thing. Whenver I had a bed that was put up to the wall, I always sleep right up at the wall. Its much cosier and comfortable I find :]

Yeah, mine's that way still and I always gravitate toward the wall. Should be interesting next year, given that my double is smack in the middle.

LMAO you guys are weird. I slept that way for a while as a kid and never curled up to the wall or fell out of bed after moving my bed around.

Xander has really grown. He did great for his first night in a new type of bed. I bet he thought it was great being able to get out of his bed on his own now. Do you think Xander knows the difference in the sexes at his age. You don't think he doesn't like sharing his bath with a girl, do you? I can't believe Elizabeth is pulling up and standing on her own. Mandy's son, Jack, is walking on his own now, but he's fourteen monthes. I wish I lived nearer to you. I'd love to be able to see the kids in person. My love to all of you, and big kisses for Xander and Elizabeth.

No, I don't think he even notices that boys and girls are different at all. She's just in HIS bath and playing with HIS toys and HIS daddy. LOL

As for the bed, I think it helps that it's really his crib. I took off the dropside and put up the two little raily things that hold the mattress in place. It's the same mattress and sheets and everything that he had before, just one side is missing. (Gotta love convertable cribs).
