I often vent on this media about how I dislike the general representation of humanity. I have been watching the past few days and think that it is more a factor that there is actually a rather small group who are true jerks out there. Not the multitude that I originally thought

I think you're absolutly right. They say the squeeky wheel gets the grease. Unfortunatly it's the truly obnoxious people that seem to get the attention, that seem to be the ones weaving in and out of traffic or screaming at clerks in the grocery store. I think you're right that it's maybe 1 in 10 people, but they're generally the loudest and draw the most attention to themselves. >.< Idiots.
