Welp it’s Christmas time and so I bring you the gift of entertainment. Right now I sit in a dark room surrounded by dogs and listening to the plunks and wails of Guitar Hero on hard mode. If anything requires a good dose of holiday cheer (or hard liquor) it’s that.
WikiHow
WikiHow is the only how to manual that takes the same philosophy as Wikipedia. Namely, that anyone can edit it to make the final product a collaboration of several people rather than the work of any one person. Now I originally learned about WikiHow when a friend of mine sent me a link to How to Jump a Car. Already knowing how jump a car, I instead asked WikiHow how to build a rocket ship. After being somewhat disappointed that there was not article on this, and reading the article on how to build a TARDIS, I decided what I really need to know is how to
get a girlfriend. To my surprise (or maybe not) there is a rather extensive article on this subject. Words cannot describe how much I laughed upon reading the article. Much of it was stuff I already knew. Well, the hygiene importance was a new idea to me but then I was recently voted least smelly by my friends on Facebook. On a whole though it just made me glad to know that there are people out there with less of an idea about how to date than I have.
Roy Zimmerman
What can I say… there are certain singer who say everything you really want to, and say it in such a way that they don’t come off as psychotic. Roy Zimmerman is the one who manages to do this for me. I recently discovered that he put out a new CD of Christmas music and, as always, he posted a few songs from it online. The first of the songs is probably my favorite as it deals with the wonders of modern culture and Christmas.

Gummy Bear
Every so often, a figment of my imagination shows up somewhere that’s not my head. This usually leads to me obsessing over whatever I see it in for weeks on end. That said, this little guy has been running around my brain for years now, it’s nice to see he’s finally escaped.
