Wednesday and Thursday
Ok, so Wednesday was a rough day--not at school, or anything...but I guess it's my sinuses that are in overdrive or something. I just felt beaten at the end of the day, and since Becky had to pick up her truck at the dealership, I decided I wouldn't worry too hard about trying to find a ride to church. A good Weekend!
Friday was an OK day at school. The 7th and 8th graders were gone on an incentive trip, and most of the seniors, as well as a lot of the underclassmen, decided to skip. OK, so the subject line is a little misleading, but maybe not. The Powers that Be decided Mrs. Gail wasn't working out for me as a teacher assistant. I don't agree, but they didn't ask me, and sent me an Americorps worker on Monday. Today was her first day alone, Mr. Dean felt Mrs. Gail should stay through Wednesday. Update on the Chocolate, or Why I skipped School!
I took Rox back to the Vet School today. I was very happy because we had a Vet this time that actually listened to what I had to say about her behavior changes, and helped analyze the problems we've been having. Easter in Review
It's Monday afternoon, and I should have written 2 or 3 entries this weekend. I'm sitting at my computer now, with a Labrador behind me scratching! I'm so tired ofher biting and scratching! Sunday was really nice. It was Mr. Sam's birthday, so he and the family invited me to come over for lunch. Mrs. Suzanne had fixed roast, rice, garlic bread, butter beans, broccoli casserole, and vegetable sticks with ranch dip. We had Strawberry cake and ice cream for dessert ( Read more... ) -

Sunday Morning Musings
I don't know what was wrong with my students on Friday. I haven't had a day like that in a while. The 7th and 8th graders will be testing most of next week in the mornings, so I'm sure they will be a handful--I'll only have to deal with the 8th graders, though, so that won't be so bad. technology hates me!
I tried unsuccessfully yesterday to authorize Jaws on my laptop so I could use the new version. I had to have Freedom scientific reset my authorization count...but for some weird reason, it still wouldn't let me authorize tonight. I love being able to use JAWS, but sometimes companies try too hard to keep good people from sharing their software ( Read more... ) -
