This was really nice. I'd been trying to figure out a way to use this song for SPN and couldn't do it. You did an amazing job. I especially love your edits and effects at the song's crescendo, showing Dean's frantic emotions at the reality of the life they lead and losing Sam. Really lovely.

I've watched it like three times now and every time it gets to about 1:18 and it goes from Wishverse!Sam to Demonpossessed!Sam it hits me right in the gut. Throughout the vid it comes through so clearly that Dean doesn't just want a different life, he wants a different life for Sam. And that just fits so beautifully with canon, as well as hitting all my Woobichesters buttons. Awesome awesome job.

Gotta admit, the 1:18 mark with Wishverse Sam to BUABS Sam is my favorite part of the video too ;) Just, the hopeful look in Dean's eyes and the bright sun to the dreary, dark, sad OMG SAM PUTTING A GUN IN HIS HAND Dean is just.... heartbreaking! And I'm glad the idea gets across through the vid, which is the best kind of feedback there is!
This was just beautiful. I watched it on YT first, but now I'm DLing it 'cause it's a keeper. :) You definitely achieved your goal of angst with a thread of hope. I particularly liked the cut from Dean being attacked by the djinn to Sam's AU life and the sequence of John's death and Dean remembering. *guh*
