Things to do in this fair town

So... like... is there anything in Lincoln that does adult recreational co-ed sports stuff? In St Louis I have friends who play co-ed Kickball in a league every single season of the year, for example. Is there a such thing as co-ed flag football for adults or anything? I mean, I'm contented to just do some softball, but I am curious as to what ( Read more... )

I'll ask around. I had a lot of friends who did softball in Lincoln. I'll find out who through and if anything else was offered.

I am improving a skill set. I am one song away from beating Rock Band Solo Guitar Tour on Expert.

Fucking Green Grass & High Tides Bullshit Fucker. Fuck. I played it like 20 times last night.

Awww, there there. Do you need Aunt Lindsay to beat it for you? I've never done solo guitar career on RB actually. Just drums up to The friggin Who. Fucking Keith Moon.

it's the very last song on expert mode, so even though RB is easier than GH, i don't feel too much shame on having trouble with it.

I don't know anybody besides Parks & Rec who do adult recreational sports.

I wouldn't suggest Peter Bouffard for rock guitar. He'd be expensive regardless. The easiest thing to do would be to use Dietze because they have several guitar teachers (I'd recommend a guy, but I don't know if he teaches at all, nor do I have any way to contact him as I haven't talked to him in 4 years).

What is all that adult co-ed sand volleyball stuff thru that Sean W's parents (used to?) play in, I wonder. I saw online some independent men's flag football league. Sigh. I just want softball and something else, you know?

I'd go to Dietze but I have outstanding debt there from bass lessons I took in 2001 haha.

There's a number of places that do volleyball in the summer (Spikes and Big Red Keno come immediately to mind). Spikes even has indoor during the winter.

"co-ed flag football for adults"

yeahhhh......something tells me you're not going to find much of that in Lincoln. I know there are softball leagues though. Or how about a bowling league? As far as improving skillsets, maybe study a new language?

I was thinking about taking summmmthing non-credit at SCC but I dunno what. Bowling Leagues... meh... I could every Friday with Liz & them but it doesn't thrill me. I want some damn football or floor hockey.... fuckers! Maybe I should learn how to play Bridge -- and then while I'm out playing Bingo I can find some old people to also play Bridge with. That's it.
