I can see quite a few characters working for you, and especially Varric and Morrigan. I think Varric fits your positive traits and the brief description of your personality well. He has sense of humour, loves telling stories, is ingelligent, witty, easygoing,compassionate and even your hobbies/likes kinda remind me of him, but in the end I am leaning a bit more towards Morrigan. She's a loner socially awkward, independent, stubborn and unforgiving. Your answers to the "Are you more" section fit Morrigan a bit better than Varric, because she is introverted, a loner, cynical, independent and has low energy and is pretty calm most of the time. I really think you're a mix between Varric and Morrigan, but I am leaning a bit more towards Morrigan in the end.

There were a couple of characters I thought of at different points, but Morrigan was the most consistant character for me. She's a loner, especially towards the begining of the game, but when she gets close to someone (like the Warden) she really values their friendship and will do as much as she can to help in times of need. She's introverted, cynical, a loner but is willing to let a capable person lead, (again referencing the Warden) independent, and she's more of a realist. I think Morrigan would probably kill Zevran too... She doesn't share your modest ways and is very confident in herself for the most part, but she shares quite a bit in common with you! :)

I can't quite help seeing you as an Alistair, if his hardened version, cynicism and preferences toward loning it aside. Your tone and sense of humor remind me of him throughout ("I strive to be dorkily cool . . .", describing yourself as one to use humor as a crutch). He is quite witty, easygoing, and compassionate, would probably stay out of position to risk hurting a friend he disagreed with but would do something if he saw a stranger being hurt, and is committed to his ideals. He can be alarmingly unforgiving if a chord is struck, namely if Loghain is conscripted, and if hardened while being mostly lawful is willing to bend the rules but given his depth of disapproval for Loghain draws a line at downright dirty.

I have to say I love the above vote for Alistair because he was my first impression. The description of your personaly reminds me a LOT of him, especially because your sense of humour really screams Alistair to me ( and this I love telling funny stories about myself and people I know, since I can make what are already pretty ridiculous stories even more unbelievable is something I can easily picture someone like Alistair saying! ). Also many of your positive traits reminds me a lot of him since I think he can be described as easy-going, independent, compassionate, and there's soomething about your "are you more" section that still remind me of Alistair overall

My vote is for Morrigan as well. I think your description of your sense of humour and your likes and dislikes matches how she comes across in the game, and definitely the liking being in charge part :)
