Planes, no trains but a fuck load of road
I promised photos from my "trip" to Heathrow. Didn't see many planes but did see the fantastic new Terminal 5. It was an early start and I'm not as tired as I thought I'd be. Just a bit dazed I think.
5.15am
Objects appear closer than they are...
It's absolutely beautiful at this time in the morning. Empty roads, beautiful scenery and doing it all to U2. (Guess who forgot to pick up her MP3 player and had to suffer her father's?)
These were between the car park and the terminal. I could have watched them all day.
Amazing feat of engineering:
Trying to be arty and do my travel documentary thing.
And if you didn't know you were in London, there's a handy sign as you exit. Just in case you got off in the wrong country or something.
8.45am and heading home
We also had a bit of a moment like this. Guess who was in the car with 2 big, strong boys pushing?!
