Uriel ran through the corridors of the Manor, paying no mind to who she may have passed on the way. She was torn between guilt, horror, and terrible, burning anger after what she'd just heard. There may have been somebody calling for her or even following her, she did not know. She would not stop, nor would she go back. Ever.
How could Odin have done that? How could he?!
She had been happier with Pestilence than ever before in her existence. For once, she had been able to honestly say she had no worry in mind. And not only had Odin ruined all that, he had also hurt the one she would have given anything to protect.
Some big brother he was. Ha. And then he actually had the guts to tell her how he'd always known Pestilence would only hurt her!
Finally she found the door she had been looking for, pausing to catch her breath. There was apparently a reason for why moderate exercise was recommended during pregnancy. Placing a hand on her already slightly rounded stomach -- she wasn't very pregnant yet, but enough that it was clear she indeed was with a baby -- she hesitantly raised her other hand to knock.
Pestilence was most probably there inside his room, that much she knew. She'd seen him arrive to the Manor, but had avoided him ever since. He probably didn't even know that she was pregnant, yet, unless he'd heard it from somebody else. Well, now he would find out.
She could only hope he wouldn't hate her forever.
After another moment of hesitation, she knocked on the door.
