am I the lucky *someone*?

Weeeeeeeeellllllllllll

aer lingus does have really inexpensive flights over -- is that the source? If so I would be also inclined to get over there via AL, but alas my heart's in England.

But I did travel to Dublin -- some pictures are on facebook. It is an 'alright' city... I thought it was fine... not the best, obviously, but I was impressed with the book of kells, trinity college, and national gallery art, which surprisingly had some really terrific art.

I say go for it and see if you can take the DART to the James Joyce museum (I wanted to), or to some little Irish city/town. It would definitely be worth your while to see the green of green Ireland.

Jocelyn. I know not much about the theater festival, but dublin is the biggest small town you will encounter...it's not my favorite international city but it holds a special place in my heart (being that I spent 4 months in ireland). if you do go, go to the temple bar area...there are many wonderful pubs and crazy irishmen to go around...enjoy!
